One of the busiest bands in Mexico, Los Rehenes formed early in the 1980s in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico -- the same small village which produced another popular Latin act, Los Temerarios. Though the group spends most of their time playing romantic favorites, they will often launch into rousing corridos or stirring patriotic numbers.
